The South Carolina Department of Consumer Affairs is partnering with the U.S. Department for Treasury to host an event called Help for Homeowners Foreclosure Prevention Event, which will be held at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center on Friday, June 28th from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
At this event, distressed borrowers and homeowners will be able to discuss foreclosure prevention options face-to-face with banks, credit unions and servicers, or with housing counselors, who are scheduled to be on-site at the event.
There is no pre-registration and no cost to attend this event. Borrowers and homeowners are encouraged to show up anytime between 1:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
